The Heart of Phelps
The Phelps Arts Center (P.A.C.) is proud to announce a new community initiative to invest in the future of the arts while preserving one of Phelps’ most treasured historic structures. Focused on enhancing accessibility, expanding programming, and ensuring long-term sustainability, the effort reflects P.A.C.’s continued commitment to serving the evolving needs of the community.
Already off to a remarkable start, the Arts Center has received more than $102,000 of their $200,000 goal. Funds raised will support a series of improvements that will strengthen both the building and the organization. Planned projects include accessibility enhancements, energy-efficient upgrades, and the creation of flexible, multi-use spaces that will accommodate a wider variety of artistic programs, exhibits, performances, and community events.
Each contribution will further support the expanding of programs, organizational sustainability, and future facility needs. Visitors will soon begin to see this process take flight as masons and craftsmen complete the critical foundation repairs the building needs. These improvements represent both a symbolic and practical step toward preserving the historic building while preparing for its next chapter.
